Liquid Pump - air driven

Liquid pumps from Haskel are air driven and used in many different applications. The compressed air driven piston pumps use large area air-driven piston connected to small-area hydraulic piston, to convert compressed air into hydraulic power. They are available in a myriad of sizes, pressure ratios and materials. Haskel has manufactured the pumps since the 1970’s and several models have not changed in decades. It is a programme with a great deal of modification opportunities and with our expertise we are confident to find the right pump for every application.

The pumps are available in pressure ratios from 1:1.5 to 1:1373 and the highest pressure available is 7000 bar.

They can handle almost all fluids. The exceptions are very strong acids and fluids with particles. Viscid fluids can be pumped if the liquid is pressurised in the suction line, for example with an assisting booster pump. All pumps can handle inlet pressures up to the maximum outlet pressure (except for the 6-series).

All the pumps can be delivered with modifications, for example: external pilot, stroke counter, stroke length limitations, separation of operating and fluid part, pumping of pressurized gases (CO 2 , LPG and more).

Model codes are used for all pumps, a letter combination followed by numbers. The letters indicate the type of pump, materials used and packing. The numbers indicate the pressure ratio.

Each pump also has a serial number showing the month and year of manufacture. It also has an order number.

 The M-Series

The M-Series: can deliver pressure up to 1030 bar, operates with compressed air in the interval of 1.8 to 9 bar, delivers flows up to 8 l/min continuously, suitable for most fluids and gases in liquid form depending on the model.

The 3/4-Series: can deliver pressure up to 1030 bar, operates with compressed air in the interval of 0.2 to 7 bar, delivers flows up to 8.5 l/min, suitable for petroleum based hydraulic fluids, diesel HWCF & 95/5, water and gases in liquid form.
