Air-driven liquid pumps from Haskel are used to transfer liquids and generate high pressures using compressed air. The pumps are based on a proven pressure intensification principle where different surface areas are utilized to convert pneumatic pressure into hydraulic pressure.
Our product range includes models with a wide variety of pressure ratios. These air-driven liquid pumps are frequently used as part of larger hydraulic systems, where flexibility and reliable operation are key factors. The pumps are available in various materials and configurations to suit different types of liquids and operating conditions.
Engineered for over 70 years
Air-driven liquid pumps are an excellent choice when:
In systems where higher power or an alternative power source is required, a hydraulically driven liquid pump can be an alternative.
High maximum output pressure
The operating principle of air-driven liquid pumps is based on pressure intensification utilizing differential chambers and piston areas within the pump. This means that the incoming compressed air is converted into a higher hydraulic pressure in the fluid circuit, enabling high output pressure levels to be reached.
The pumps handle pressure ratios ranging from approximately 1.5 times up to over 1,300 times the incoming air pressure. Maximum output pressure can reach up to approximately 7,000 bar depending on the model and configuration.

Select a pump to suit your requirements
Compatible with multiple fluids
Haskel air-driven liquid pumps are compatible with most fluids, with the exception of pure acids and fluids containing solid particles. Viscous fluids can be pumped if the suction line is pressurized, for example, by using a booster pump prior to the main pump.
All models withstand inlet pressures equal to their discharge pressure capability, offering high flexibility in system design.
Air-driven liquid pump tailored to your needs
Haskel air-driven liquid pumps can be supplied with various modifications to match specific requirements:
Pump models are designated using a combination of letters and numbers, where the letters indicate the type and material, and the numbers specify the pressure ratio.

Built for over 40 years
The liquid pumps consist of a broad range complemented by a large number of modification options. Combined with our extensive expertise, this enables us to find the right solution for every application.
The pumps can handle most liquids, with the exception of pure acids and liquids containing particles. Viscous liquids can be pumped if pressurized in the suction line, for example by using a booster pump beforehand. All pumps can handle an inlet pressure as high as the outlet pressure (except the 6-series).
The pumps are available with various modifications, such as operation for low drive pressures, external start-stop, stroke counters, stroke length limitation, separation between the drive section and liquid section, pumping of pressurized gases (LPG, CO2, etc.), and more.
