HYDMOS markets high-pressure tubing and high-pressure fittings in sizes from 1/8 to 1″ in pressure ratings of 10 kpsi, 20 kpsi, 30 kpsi, 60 kpsi, and 150 kpsi.
Featuring a bleed hole for potential leakage detection
The principle behind these fittings is that the tube is coned and externally threaded. The equivalent of the ferrule is screwed on (left-hand thread), and an external "nut" is used to clamp the tube against the fitting, which has a matching cone, thereby creating the seal. All fittings of this type feature a drainage hole to prevent any potential leakage from building up pressure between the nut and the fitting. All components can be supplied treated for use with hydrogen.
