Gas booster system for testing safety valves. Incoming gas is compressed air at 6 bar, used for both driving and testing. A pre-booster pumps up an intermediate buffer and feeds the main booster, which takes the pressure up to a maximum of 1000 bar. High-pressure and low-pressure transmitters, where the latter is automatically disconnected when the pressure exceeds the transmitter's measuring range. The equipment is manually operated.
